If you have recently moved into the Hilltop Village Condominium community, you may have some questions about your Association and the services it provides. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers.
What days are trash and recycling?
Do I receive a bill for my dues?
Bills are not mailed to homeowners, the property management firm provides coupon booklets or you can set up with them for electronic transfers at your discretion or automatic transfers. Please contact the property management firm for further assistance on payment options.
When are the monthly HOA fees due and where do I mail them?
Fees are due the first of each month and there is a 15 day grace period. Any dues received after the 15th of the month will be assessed a late fee. Mail your homeowners’ association dues to the address on your coupon booklet or as determined with the property management firm.
How do I get a coupon book?
Coupon books are provided through the property management company. If you do not have a coupon book, please call the management firm of record. That firm currently is Tidewater Property Management, Inc. and our property manager is Jessica Bonsall.
Tidewater Property Management can be reached at 443-548-0191, ext 197. If you do not have a coupon book or have misplaced it, be sure to write your property address on your check when you mail it in. Even if you have not received your coupon booklet, you are still responsible to pay your dues in a timely fashion.
What do the HOA dues cover?
Your HOA dues cover the current upkeep and maintenance of the community property and common area. This includes the external building elements, pool maintenance as well as the grounds surrounding these facilities. A certain portion of the dues are placed in reserve funds for projected repairs such as the pool, roofs, siding, exterior walls, parking lots, etc.
How do I get my pool passes?
Pool Applications are mailed to community members each Spring. Household passes are available for a nominal fee and grant entry to all household members. Additional Guest passes may be purchased for the season for an additional fee. Passes are mailed beginning in mid-May prior to pool opening Memorial Day weekend. One must be a member in good standing (up-to-date on their dues) to qualify for pool passes and use of the pool.
How do I get approval to build a fence or deck?
In short, you need to get the approval of the Architectural Committee. In order to apply you should complete the application form, submit your plans & any additional documentation such as drawings, material specifications in accordance with community’s architectural guidelines.
